The Honolulu Japanese Chamber of Commerce contracted with Joanne Ninomiya and JN Productions in 2005 to produce a documentary on the founding and eventual closure of the 102-year old Iida Store at Ala Moana Center. They conscientiously researched historical details with the family and captured, with a sense of drama and sensitivity, the essence of a hundred years in a 20-minute documentary. Most importantly, they met all deadlines and were willing to work within our budget.
